What: Getting settled! Hammond holds a welcome speech and you can get a tour through the Visitor Center. Once that is done, why don't you choose a room or check out the exhibits and café? A new world of wonders awaits and you're just getting started!

It's a beautiful but slightly nebulous day on Isla Nublar. You have arrived this morning and didn't get much of a chance to check out the place yet. Still, one thing is clear... Dinosaurs are a new one. That herd of brachiosaurs you spotted walking in the distance is pretty impressive.

This is a mingle-log that you can use to tag around with as many people as you want. Unless otherwise stated, it is assumed all comments here are fair game to reply to with all characters - they are all in close proximity to each other after all. The log also gives a chance for characters to talk to John Hammond for a while - he might not be overly helpful, but go ahead and meet your host!

How many are there!? Are they all that big!? Are there any predators!? Can we see them hunt!?

There are around 200 animals at this time and they range from chicken-sized to the size of the brachiosaurs you saw earlier today.

And yes, we certainly have some carnivores around as well and you can see their feeding - it is controlled, however, and they can't hunt other dinosaurs.

Can they at least hunt their food?

Yes and no. They're fed live animals so it's by no means like receiving canned meet - but for organizational reasons there won't be any hunts all over the area. The area of feeding is restricted so we can ensure everything goes just right.

That kind of sucks for them.

But they're still awesome! Make sure you let us know as soon as we can see them!
